This Self-Serve Avgas Station is a brand new operation here at BGM. This system is owned and operated by the Broome County Department of Aviation. Their mission is to provide quality and competitively priced Avgas fuel to General Aviation Aircraft tenants and transient. Charter Services
The Greater Binghamton Airport offers charter services and aircraft management through international business aviation group, Gama Aviation. Gama Aviation (GA) specializes in aircraft management, executive charter, corporate shuttles, aircraft sales, and aircraft acquisitions. GA’s headquarters are located at Sikorsky Memorial Airport in Stratford, CT., with operating bases in Teterboro, NJ, West Palm Beach, FL, Binghamton, NY and more.
GA’s combined fleet numbers over 60 aircrafts ranging in size from Boeing Business Jets to Citation Jets and Helicopters. GA’s relocation to the Greater Binghamton Airport brought a handful of employees to our airport with two additional business jet aircrafts bringing the total aircrafts based in Binghamton to three. Their BGM fleet now consists of two light jet Citation 2 aircrafts and one mid-sized jet Hawker 800Xp Aircraft.
Gama’s location at BGM puts them in a more viable and centralized point for their clients in the Upstate NY area. Plus BGM is only a 36 minute flight from the NY Metropolitan area allowing them to provide competitive charter services in NYC.
